Karen Tedesco is an award-winning cook, recipe developer, cooking teacher and food writer with more than 20 years’ experience working in many facets of the food and wine industry. Her recipes have been featured in such publications as Fine Cooking, Better Homes & Gardens, Cooking Light and Southern Living, and her recipe column is a regular feature in Sauce magazine. Her blog, FamilyStyle Food chronicles her everyday cooking and “foodie” inspirations.

Karen’s adventures in the cooking-contest world have been televised numerous times on Food Network Challenge, where you can watch her compete with other talented cooks from across the country.

The mother of two children, Karen knows all too well how difficult it can be to put a tasty, healthy dinner on the table every night. She decided to start DinnerStyle, her personal chef business, as a way to provide individuals with little time for cooking with the simple pleasures of daily home-cooked meals.

Commited to local, organic produce and sustainably raised meats, poultry and seafood whenever possible, Karen’s creative cuisine focuses on seasonal ingredients and bold, interesting flavors from the Mediterranean, Asia, and Middle East, not to mention updated versions of classic American-style comfort food.

Fully licensed and insured, Karen is a member of the American Personal Chef’s Association and a certified ServSafe food handler. She looks forward to cooking in your kitchen, bringing delicious food to your table.
